Exhibition introduction

The Global Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Good (AI for Good) in Geneva, Switzerland, is the United Nations' premier action-oriented platform to advance AI for health, climate, gender, inclusive prosperity, sustainable infrastructure and other global development priorities. The AI for Good event is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN's specialized agency for information and communication technologies, in partnership with 40 UN sister agencies and convened jointly with the Government of Switzerland.

With the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence technologies such as ChatGPT, how to use and regulate AI more efficiently has become one of the core issues of concern in the global science and technology community. The Global Conference on AI for Good in Geneva, Switzerland, first held in 2017, is a leading, action-oriented, global and inclusive United Nations event. AI for Good aims to identify practical applications of AI, expand the global impact of AI solutions, and accelerate the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Based on the online platform, "Artificial Intelligence for Good" runs throughout the year, and various activities are held around the three major themes of Learn, Build and Connect.

Summit topics cover all aspects of AI, including: AI role and sustainable development, AI ethics and fairness, AI application and innovation in the field of environmental protection, AI application and potential in medical diagnosis, drug research and development, and public health, AI application in education and intelligent transportation, inclusiveness of AI technology popularization, AI regulatory policy and governance framework, etc.

At the summit, participants agreed that AI technologies have the potential to drive inclusive growth, create jobs and improve social well-being, as well as to drive higher levels of education, universal access to healthcare and agricultural productivity. Experts at the meeting also called for enhanced international cooperation to guide the development of artificial intelligence through the formulation of policies and regulations to ensure the transparency and ethics of the technology.
